Wolverton Brothers

Of the handful of Ass Ponys shows I've seen, this one is by far the best. The band was on fire, the crowd was totally responsive, and Greg Dulli of Afghan Whigs was on hand to stir up a two-song encore. Wolverton Brothers opened with an amazing and eclectic set. Words can't describe just how great the Ponys played that night. I still remember Steve (the Quiet One) saying after the show, in near disbelief, "They played 'It's Summer Here!'"

Thanks, Pete, for preserving this show for listeners forever.
