Happy Memorial Day!  All kinds of new stuff is now available: "Little Bastard" cassette single, an album by a band called Out Back who covered "Mr. Superlove," an alternate cover for The Known Universe, the Mr. Superlove cassette, an advance cassette copy of Electric Rock Music, the flyers for the May 21, 2005 show, an updated APpearance page, a photo autographed by the band, Rodney's setlist collection, and the new t-shirt.  Removed the "Fatty the Pirate" and "Cannon Fodder" MP3s due to server limitations.

Some new stuff added: review of SSWAFG in No Depression #28, Barrelhouse ad featuring the Ass Ponys show that didn't happen, tour poster proofs that never made production, the famous "I Love Bob" button, CMJ CD compilation #5 from 1993, Spin magazine's "Spin Radio" distribution disk #15 from 1994, and you can listen to that segment here.  Added a link to a Randy Cheek Q&A from 2004 (go to Links - Articles and Reviews, then scroll to August 4, 2004).Removed the "Woodshed" and "Rhiannon" MP3s due to server limitations.  Made other minor corrections in places where you've seen errors but you're too polite to tell us.

Here's something that purist Ass Ponys fans may really appreciate.  This is the first flyer for the band created for their first public performance on November 18, 1988.  It's... it's... it's something you just have to see!  View it here.  This article is the first in a long list of older and rarely if ever seen before Ass Ponys memorabilia.  Stay tuned.

Hey, hi, hello!   Yeah, it's been a while, but here's a pile of new stuff for you to check out.  Added an indie compilation, a Magnet Magazine compilation, and a German compilation.  Added the Rivertown Breakdown MP3 compilation and show poster.  Here are descriptions of the Hard Rock Cafe videos.  Now find articles from a 1993 CMJ and Rolling Stone's first acknowledgement of the Ass Ponys.  The cassette version of Electric Rock Music is now on board.  Two syndicated radio shows are now on the site, "Radio Asylm" and Westwood One's "On the Edge."  Also, added a couple new links and made some miscellaneous corrections and additions.  Enjoy, and keep stopping by, because we've been blessed with a lot of old stuff that will hit the site very very soon!

Happy Valentine's Day!  Here's the scoop: Ass Ponys record in studio, their first original studio release since Lohio, and we have it right here!  Special thanks to Dave Morrison for making this possible, and special thanks to Ass Ponys for making it... period.  Ass Ponys delivered this great slow sad song at the February 12 iLove Benefit Show at Southgate House and here it is.  Take a gander at the great poster from this show!  Last but not smallest, here's the photo page for the iLove show.  Also, we added updates to the news boxes above this one, updated the APpearance page, and made some minor cosmetic changes.

Santa Claus is happy with the hand he's dealt.  Hey, pictures from the December 3, 2004 show!  New stuff on the Discography : on the singles' page, we added back cover graphics for the Under Cedars and Stars and Little Bastard EPs, and added new CD singles for "Under Cedars and Stars" and "Little Bastard."  Yup, they're different.  Also, corrected the omission of a passage of Mark Stewart's 2001 article (with apologies to Mark). Added a link to one of the worst "rock" columns ever and corrected some other links that were messed up that y'all probably didn't notice.

Added five compilations from the collection of Dominic Bucci and two new additions to the assponys.org collection.  We now have so many compilations that we split the page into two pages for faster viewing.  Bigger is better!  Check it out here.

Added a poster to the archival page from the Barrelhouse show on October 02, 1999; the picture of the poster is from Gary (Ford Madox Ford) from Dayton.  We plan on adding quite a few new posters as we attend upcoming shows and as more Assheads contribute to the collection.  As a result, the posters page has been split into two pages for faster viewing.  Check it out here.

Other additions include a printed set list for 10-02-2001 at The Khyber.  It is on the photos page and the archival page.  Also, another setlist has turned up.  This one is from Canal Street Tavern show in Dayton.  hbh found a promotional postcard for Some Stupid With A Flare Gun and the Earth To Grandma single so we posted these as well.  Phew!
